The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join a client’s fast-moving development team.

The role is central to delivering their web application, with the emphasis on rapid problem solving, cross-platform support, and using AI tools to work faster. The right person is an experienced Angular developer who does well in dynamic environments, knows their way around mobile applications, and can move across the stack when the work calls for it.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise web and mobile applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across multiple platforms at pace.
• Work with backend, QA, and mobile teams to ship features and fixes efficiently.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Windsurf to speed up learning, troubleshooting, and delivery.
• Take part in code reviews and testing, and contribute to system design and architecture.
• Support both frontend (Angular) and backend (Node.js) work.
• Ensure clean integration with databases and contribute to backend data handling where needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years developing applications in production environments.
• 5+ years of strong, current Angular experience.
• Experience with Ionic.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with SASS, at least one to two years.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Prior work with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• A proven ability to work in fast-paced agile environments and get up to speed on complex applications quickly.
• Demonstrated use of AI development tools to improve productivity and learning.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, and similar).
• Experience with Capacitor.
• Backend development experience with Node.js.
• Prior full-stack work spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Java, for Android development.
• Swift, for iOS development.
