What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Solana Systems Engineer with strong knowledge of computer systems and networks, a passion for blockchain and decentralisation, and an eye for detail, because even a millisecond matters. Our team has a natural drive to maintain and grow our presence in the ever-changing Solana ecosystem.
- Strong Linux and systems engineering skills; Solana validator experience is very welcome
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
- Proven ability to design and critically think about system architecture
- Background in Computer Science or Distributed Systems, or equivalent work experience
- Willingness to travel occasionally to meet the team in person and attend conferences
What You Will Do
Operate validator nodes, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our Solana infrastructure and operations, including but not limited to:
- Ensure continuous operation of our Solana systems and perform timely updates
- Monitor performance and carry out performance tuning
- Proactively seek new avenues for extending and speeding up setup within the Solana ecosystem
- Automate node deployment and operations via Ansible and Terraform
- Collaborate with traders to assist with infrastructure performance needs
- Be involved in communication with our partners
- Participate in the on-call duty rotation
- Learn, grow, and look beyond your current role
